What We Fund
Liberty Historic Railway is dedicated to funding New Jersey transportation-related preservation projects and initiatives, including (but not limited to):
- horse-drawn vehicles
- railway equipment
- trolleys
- buses
- jitneys
- taxis
- stage coaches
- omnibuses
- trucks
- military equipment
- police, fire fighting, and other emergency vehicles and equipment
- canal artifacts and equipment
LHRy may also provide grant funding and other financial support for the purpose of (a) preserving, restoring, building, displaying, protecting, and operating historic, new, or replica buildings, structures, and vehicles; or (b) promoting and supporting events and initiatives fostering greater public awareness, appreciation, education, and understanding of New Jersey’s transportation heritage.
